Protesters run from tear gas released by riot police during clashes along a road which leads to the US embassy, near Tahrir Square in Cairo on September 13, 2012. Egypt's President Mohamed Mursi said he supported peaceful protest but not attacks on embassies, after Egyptians angry at a film deemed insulting to Islam climbed into the US embassy in Cairo and tore down the US flag.
