DUBAI, May 11, 2021

Leading Dubai contractor Khansaheb said its interiors unit has been awarded a 5,500-sq-m high-end fit-out contract for The Link, one of the world’s longest cantilevered buildings at One Za’abeel, a mixed-use luxury project being developed by Ithraa Dubai.

Centrally located and adjacent to the Dubai World Trade Centre, One Za’abeel comprises three key components - Towers A and B and ‘The Link’, which bridges the towers at a height of 100 m. It is being constructed by Alec Engineering and Contracting (Alec), a part of Investment Corporation of Dubai.

A masterpiece of modern design and luxury, One Za'abeel along with its icon, The Link, covers a total area of 470,700 sq m and is set to redefine the mixed-use concept in the region by providing the finest in retail, residential and office space and claiming the world’s first urban vertical resort under the One&Only brand.

On completion, One Za’abeel will boast 263 high-end residential units, three floors of high-end retail and leisure experiences at The Gallery, 497 ultra-luxury hotel rooms and serviced apartments, and premium Grade A offices.

Khansaheb said the scope of work includes two packages, spread across five levels at The Link.

It includes the complete interior fit-out works of 6 celebrity/specialty restaurants, VIP bars and lounges, a destination bar, and a visitor’s experience in the Link bridge connecting the hotel and residential towers, said the company in a statement.

In addition to the fit-out works, Khansaheb will also carry out joinery and metalworks in-house, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
