Indonesia’s Expo 2020 pavilion nearing completion

Indonesia has announced that work was progressing at a steady pace on its country pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai with around 95 per cent of the project already completed.
 
The pavilion, located in the "Opportunity District", will focus on presenting Indonesia’s future innovations in various sectors and showcase its products, programmes and services, to attract tourists and investors and promote cooperation between Indonesia and other countries.
 
It also aims to present the country’s creative development of its natural resources and its adoption of "Industry 4.0", as well as its digital economy and its cultural and natural diversity.
 
With work in full swing, the country pavilion is likely to be completed by end of this month, said Kasan Mohri, Commissioner-General of Indonesia at Expo 2020 Dubai. 
 
Prior to the gala event, the pavilion will be tested in August and September as per Expo regulations, he added.
 
"The pavilion will cover an area of 1,860 sq m, including a total construction space of 3,000 sq m, affirming that the construction work costs are covered by a partnership programme between the public and private sectors," he noted.
 
According to Mohri, the expo will be an opportunity to enhance the reputation of Indonesia and also highlight the partnership with the UAE.
 
It is our key partner in various sectors, most notably commerce, investment, trade and tourism, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
