Roshn to deliver first Riyadh community homes in 2022

RIYADH, February 28, 2021

Roshn, a leading Saudi real estate developer powered by Public Investment Fund (PIF),
is planning to start off-plan sales at its flagship project in Riyadh later this year, with the handover of the first homes likely in early 2022, reported Arab News.

Roshn Riyadh, which is coming up on a 20-million-sq-m area near King Khalid International Airport, will boast more than 30,000 homes.

Conveniently located close to the city’s main attractions, key highways and transportation links, Roshn Riyadh is the first community as part of the Saudi developer's mandate to build communities across the kingdom.

The project boasts contemporary homes that fuse modern design with a celebration of the capital’s rich heritage in addition to mosques, retail and F&B outlets, parks, schools and leisure and entertainment facilities.

Roshn was launched last August by the kingdom's wealth fund to deliver quality residential neighbourhoods to Saudi nationals as part of its commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goal of increasing the rate of homeownership in the country to 70 per cent.

"Our communities are entirely inclusive, with homes to suit all tastes and budgets. Our aim is to provide a modern, aspirational living experience while giving residents the freedom to interpret what this means to them in their own unique way," stated Roshn’s Group CEO David Grover .

"The project’s first phase involves 4,000 homes that will become available for sale by the middle of this year," he noted.

"Roshn’s customer experience center is expected to be ready in Q1 2021, while the handover process of homes will start in early 2022. Construction is planned to be completed by Q4 2023," he added.
