Cavendish Maxwell boosts consulting team with new appointments

Cavendish Maxwell, a leading property consultancy and chartered surveying firm in the Middle East, has expanded its strategy and consulting team with multiple appointments.
The new team brings significant experience covering real estate consulting, operations, and investment in sectors spanning residential, commercial, industrial, retail, education, hospitality, and leisure and entertainment.
The team possesses numerous qualifications from leading real estate educational institutions around the world, said the statement from the company.
PP Varghese has been appointed as partner and will lead Cavendish Maxwell’s strategy and consulting team.
An industry veteran, Varghese bring with him with over 17 years’ experience gained through advising government, private and institutional clients on single-use, mixed-use, standalone, and master planned projects.
His expertise spans development planning and strategy, cost-benefit analysis, operational reviews and monitoring, hotel operator search and negotiations, as well as arbitration support and dispute resolution for hotel management agreements.
Varghese is a Master of Management in Hospitality, majoring in real estate investments and finance from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University, New York.
Siraj Ahmed joins the team as associate partner and brings significant experience in market research, financial feasibility studies, highest and best use studies, and master plan support across the GCC and beyond.
He has undertaken several projects involving urban regeneration strategy, retail consulting, and labour accommodation planning and has catered to local property developers, master developers, investment funds and sovereign wealth funds.
Ahmed holds a master’s degree in real estate development from New York University, New York.
Cavendish Maxwell said Abbas Junejo comes on board as a consultant with experience in capital markets, private equity, and development consulting in the US, UK, and UAE.
In addition to core assets, Junejo’s sectoral knowledge includes healthcare and student housing. Junejo holds a master’s degree in real estate from Georgetown University, Washington DC.
Shyam Panchal joins Cavendish Maxwell as an analyst. He has extensive experience in financial analysis and due diligence across the GCC with a focus on credit risk. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from IE Business School, Madrid.
