Azizi seals steel supply deal with BRC Arabia

DUBAI, November 19, 2020

Azizi Developments, a leading private developer in the UAE, has awarded an AED11.5-million contract to BRC Arabia for the supply of cut-and-bend reinforcement steel for five of the buildings in the third phase of Riviera, its waterfront lifestyle community coming up in the Mohammed bin Rashid City, Dubai.

The cut-and-bend reinforcement steel will add to the durability and pace up the construction of Riviera, said the developer.

Azizi’s renowned residential landmark destination in Meydan, which, upon its completion,
will comprise more than 16,000 residences spread across 71 mid-rise buildings, overlooking an extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins — a lush-green social space.

COO Afzaal Hussain said: "We have made it our mission to bring on board – and build lasting relationships with – best-in-class suppliers for our communities in an effort to ensure the highest levels of quality and adherence to our construction completion schedules."

"The newly formed BRC Arabia tie-up is a noteworthy step in our commitment to synergise with industry leaders, and to deliver more value for our stakeholders. With the direct supply of cut-and-bend reinforcement steel, Azizi will be able to cut its overhead labour costs, wastage and most importantly, the time required for quality projects to reach completion," he explained.

BRC Arabia, with its team of professional engineers and technicians, will ensure high-quality production in compliance with the world-class, international standards, BS4466 / BS8666 and ACI 318, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
