Kärcher appoints new Mideast managing director

DUBAI, January 16, 2020

Kärcher, a world leader in innovative cleaning technology solutions, has appointed Joe Lahoud as the new managing director of its regional headquarters based in Dubai, Jebel Ali, taking over the responsibility of Karcher Middle East operations.

Lahoud’s appointment takes effect immediately, succeeding long-term managing director Richard Nouira who will return to Germany.

“The Middle East region holds great growth potential and is a very important market for Kärcher. Our operation in the region, set up by my predecessor Richard Nouira in 1998, is up and running and grew from strength to strength over the years, thanks to his effort and dedication. We will now enter a phase to further develop our brand presence across the Middle East with our combined force of direct sales, partners-dealers and after sales services,” said Lahoud.

Lahoud brings over 25 years of regional experience in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Lebanon and Kuwait.  Most recently, he was the group chief executive officer of Marzooq Al Shamlan Holding in Qatar. He holds a Bachelor and Master degree in strategic management.

Kärcher serves both B2B and B2C customers across the world, including, Government and institutions, hospitality, restaurant and catering sector, facilities & offices management companies, automotive, construction, transport and manufacturing industries.

Kärcher manufactures high-pressure washers, steam cleaners, scrubber dryers, dry vacuum cleaners, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, municipal sweepers and vehicle cleaning systems, among others. – TradeArabia News Service
