Dubai's key project management event draws top sponsors

DUBAI, December 1, 2019

Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said the upcoming edition of Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) is expected to be a big hit, attracting a strong lineup of prominent sponsors from the Gulf region and the world over.

The event, to be held from December 7 to 10, is being co-organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), DP World, Emaar Properties and Projects Management Institute (PMI).

The wide cast of sponsors supporting the event includes economic, industrial, commercial and service businesses that boast of long and rich experience in their respective fields, said the statement from RTA.

Aramco will play a key role as the strategic partner of the DIPMF, it stated.

Moaza Al Marri, the executive director, Office of the Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, Chairperson of the Organising Committee of DIPMF, said: "The sixth edition of DIPMF has attracted 13 sponsors topped by the Saudi giant oil company Aramco, which has made the headlines with its recent initial public offering amongst global investors from all over the world."

"Falcon City of Wonders, China State Construction Engineering Corporation and Al Futtaim Auto and Machinery Company (Famco) have also been added as strategic sponsors," stated Al Marri.

Alstom will be the delegate bag sponsor, and Parsons the lanyard sponsor, while Etihad Rail, Systra and Larsen & Toubro will be silver sponsors, she added.

Al Marri said Blanes Ware will be a technology partner for the event, while the International Institute for Learning is the education partner. "Emirates Society of Engineers and Construction Week magazine have also been designated as partners," she stated.

Associating the event with such high-class and diverse sponsors with strong presence in projects management industry will enrich this pioneering global experience; which is making constant successes, she added.-TradeArabia News Service
