Top real estate firms to unveil digital solutions at Bipex

Leading players from the real estate sector will be showcasing their innovations and digital solutions at the 12th edition of the Bahrain International Property Exhibition (Bipex) being hosted in collaboration with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority Bahrain (Rera).
 
The event will be held from December 8 to 9 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
In addition to bringing together exhibitors from Bahrain and the region to showcase projects, Bipex will be hosting a two-day conference on the sidelines of the event that will address a broad range of conceptual and practical issues related to residential and commercial real estate. 
 
At the Bipex conference, real estate insiders will discuss, debate and explore topics of interest to the real estate industry. The sessions will act as a channel to facilitate interactive dialogue amongst all stakeholders of the real estate industry in the kingdom, said the organisers. 
 
Professionals from all fields of the real estate industry including development, distribution, and investment will be taking part to exchange opinions on the current state and future of the real estate market the region.
 
Rera CEO Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said: "We support initiatives and events such as Bipex which in addition to showcasing leading development projects here in Bahrain, also this year provides a platform for all real estate stakeholders to engage and discuss key issues for the sector."
 
"The key topics being highlighted are the requirement for Owners Associations in buildings with common areas, the recently introduced real estate resolutions and the professionalization of service providers to the sector," he added. 
 
Bipex chairman Mohd Al Sayed said: "We look forward to our collaboration with Rera in line with the new direction of the 12th edition of Bipex. It emphasises our commitment to educating developers on the importance of effective and fair regulation in the real estate market in Bahrain."
 
"We want to raise awareness on some key regulations by hosting these in-depth sessions, and we know there will be real value to our targeted audience. Bipex is a platform to exchange and share knowledge, and this year we are doing this in larger scale with our partners," he added.
 
The two-day conference will include seven in-depth sessions, panels and practical seminars, said the organisers. 
 
The organised seminars will be highlighting crucial topics within the real estate market in Bahrain, and the region including two all-star panels and two panel discussions. The “The future of Real Estate” seminar will be held on December 8 and “Financing Real Estate’ on December 9.  
 
Additionally, there will be two panel discussions focused on sustainability; which will be held on December 8 and the rise of PropTech on December 9. 
 
Simultaneously, Rera will be hosting three in-depth sessions from December 8 to 9.
 
Rera’s first session - “Real Estate Professionals - ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Law & Regulations & update on key regulatory changes for the sector - will be open to all brokers, sales agents, owners association managers and property managers. 
 
The second session will be a panel discussion with leading experts on 'Owners Associations - getting it right for all stakeholders' on December 8.
 
This session is aimed at providing practitioners such as Owners Association Managers and Property Managers with key insights on this important topic.    
 
The third session highlights How to create an Owners Association” - key steps for owners and investors to have their say in how service charges are set, how property is managed and how to protect their investment. It will be open to the general public from 5pm to 6:30pm and will run for the two days.-TradeArabia News Service
