Emrill Services opens new offices in Sharjah, RAK

DUBAI, September 5, 2019

Leading UAE integrated facilities management (FM) provider Emrill Services has expanded its presence across the emirates with the launch of two new offices in the northern emirates of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Headquartered in Dubai, where it was founded in 2002, Emrill now employs over 7,500 people. It is hoping to replicate its Dubai success in the other emirates, offering its full range of hard and soft facilities management and manned security services.

Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah have experienced a development boom, spawning multiple residential, retail and hospitality developments.

Sharjah is launching a number of ‘cities’ that will spread across huge land areas, including Aljada, Tilal City and the Al Zahia mixed-use community. The emirate is also set to build Sharjah Sustainable City, a Dh2 billion development occupying 7.2 million sq ft and featuring 1,120 villas.

"For Emrill, expanding with new offices in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah is well-timed and demonstrates the company’s commitment to our long-term business strategy. It comes as part of our plans to grow throughout the UAE and capitalise on our leading position in Dubai’s FM sector," remarked its CEO Stuart Harrison.

"With the opening of these new offices, we are building on years of success and are investing for future organic growth," he stated.

In January 2019, Sharjah’s ruler, HH Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, had announced that the emirate would develop three real estate projects - Maryam Island, Kalba Waterfront and Palace Al Khan - worth a total of Dh2.7 billion ($734 million) comprising high-end hospitality facilities, further boosting Sharjah’s residential, retail and hospitality sectors.

Ras Al Khaimah is seeing a surge in popularity and a number of developers have already launched residential and hospitality projects.

In addition to plans to add more than 3,000 residential units over the coming years, Ras Al Khaimah is actively working to attract regional and international visitors.

Harrison said: "While Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah are still relatively small markets for facilities management when compared to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we are expecting the sector to grow significantly as government campaigns and strategies are implemented."

"Ras Al Khaimah in particular is becoming far more visible as a tourist destination and the new developments will lead to increased demand for FM services," he stated.

"We have many years of experience delivering a full range of hard and soft FM services to Dubai’s residential, entertainment and leisure, retail and hospitality sectors. We have learned how to effectively manage developments of all sizes, creating value partnerships with developers and asset owners through our consistent delivery of high standards," said Harrison.

"We are now positioned to take all of that expertise and deliver the same high-level services in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
