Bahrain’s Tender Board recently conducted a workshop for Ministry of Information Affairs and Ministry of Education staff titled ‘Foundation in Tendering Processes’.

Topics covered included the tender process and procedures, legal procedures, and how to use the Tender Board’s state-of-the-art e-Tendering system to streamline government procurement practices.

Tender Board secretary general Mohamed Bahzad said: “This workshop aims to help purchasing authorities do their work more efficiently, thereby ensuring optimal use of public finds and maximizing economic efficiency.

“The Tender Board is constantly working to improve the level of services it offers to its stakeholders, and this workshop forms part of a wider initiative by the Tender Board to maintain strong lines of communication with all purchasing authorities, vendors, and contractors.”

This is the fifth in a series of weekly workshops offered by the Tender Board for purchasing authorities. – TradeArabia News Service
