Chestertons names global head of international sales

DUBAI, June 24, 2019

Chestertons, a leading international real estate services firm, has appointed Dennis Chan, an industry veteran with over 14 years of experience in sales, marketing, leasing and investments around the world, as the new global head of its international sales unit.

Chan was earlier based in Dubai as the head of sales at Imkan Properties and Eagle Hills, one of the UAE's leading property developers with projects spanning Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

His credentials also include head of sales at KOP Limited, vice president of sales and marketing at Rowsley Limited and unit head at Savills in Singapore, said a statement from Chestertons.

With a primary focus on global new homes and off-plan developments, Chan now forms a team of eight people in the International Department, based in Dubai.

He will be responsible for managing and growing the international sales department, while supporting and assisting both owned and partner businesses to win new homes mandates worldwide besides overseeing the new international sales platform and helping provide tools and systems to enhance the ability of all partner offices to win and transact, it stated.

Welcoming Chan into the fold, Gavin Vercoe, head of international, Asia Pacific & Americas, said: "He is a fantastic asset to have on board due to his strong industry knowledge and will be instrumental for the future growth of the business as we begin our exciting new franchising chapter."

"Chan's record in ensuring the best possible client rapport has earned him trust with buyers and developers for many years – a skill that is very much keeping with Chesterton International’s values," he added.

On his new role, Chan said: "I am thrilled to join Chestertons International – a renowned business with a strong presence in the Middle East and a world-wide reputation that I have admired for many years."

"I look forward to working with the global network, and using the experience I’ve gained over the years to support the company’s exciting growth plans in the coming months and years," stated Chan.-TradeArabia News Service
