Meraas welcomes its first Bluewaters residents

DUBAI, February 15, 2019

UAE-based property developer Meraas has officially started the handover of the first completed units at its Bluewaters Residences, a mixed-use destination taking shape on a manmade island off the Jumeirah Beach Residence coastline.

With rolling vistas of the shimmering waters of the Arabian Gulf that stretch as far as the eye can see, the residential district of Meraas’ island destination, Bluewaters, promises a unique blend of glamorous waterfront living immersed in a vibrant urban setting, said the statement from Meraas.

The Residences development comprises 10 mid-rise towers featuring 698 apartments, four penthouses and 17 townhouses set amidst a plethora of world-class entertainment, leisure and hospitality options.

Complementing the inspirational backdrop, Ain Dubai – Dubai’s landmark observation wheel, serves as a fitting centrepiece to the impressive development.

Bluewaters Residences by Meraas welcomed its first residents to their new homes in the elegant mid-rise towers, said a company spokesman.

Apartment and townhouses at Bluewaters Residences are finished to the highest quality standards – the interiors feature a neutral palette and minimalist aesthetic that beautifully combines homely warmth and contemporary design.

From the Scandinavian flooring to the state-of-the-art appliances, the spaces have taken all the finer details into consideration, making it an ideal place to call home. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the apartments offer sweeping views of Ain Dubai, as well as the Dubai skyline at The Beach opposite JBR, while the townhouses provide scenic views of the sea and lush landscape, he stated.

Upping the luxury quotient, the four penthouses located at the topmost level of each tower, boast the most incredible views of the Arabian Gulf and include deluxe touches that ooze quality and sophistication.

Amenities available to residents include gymnasiums, swimming pools, landscaped gardens, basketball courts and children’s play areas. A mosque featuring contemporary architectural elements is also located in the vicinity.

Furthermore, the residential zone includes a central landscaped podium that promotes a sense of community living.

In addition to dedicated basement-level parking bays, the buildings house 32 retail outlets as well as a supermarket for the added convenience of their residents.

Bluewaters features several courtyards, intimate pedestrian spaces and scenic walkways, set within the lush green landscape. Central and Sunset Avenues separate the residential, retail and hospitality areas, while North and South Walks invite pedestrians to take a leisurely stroll along the water’s edge, said the spokesman.

The Wharf, Bluewaters’ lifestyle retail space, will comprise over 150 retail and dining outlets that dot the boulevard as low-rise structures. Walkways crisscross the district, shaded by trees, primarily palms, and visually striking light features, he explained.

The destination also hosts a five-star hospitality offering – Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai, The Residences at Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai and Caesars Resort Bluewaters Dubai – collectively offering 495 luxury rooms and 80 serviced apartments. Enhancing the lifestyle experience is The Rotunda, a 500-seat theatre showcasing unique acts from Las Vegas, and Cove Beach, a stunning private beach club, he stated.

Connecting Bluewaters to the mainland is a sophisticated network of roads, including a direct link to Sheikh Zayed Road, pedestrian access from The Beach opposite JBR and water transport, courtesy of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Both Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport can be reached in 30 minutes, while Abu Dhabi Airport is just an hour away, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
