Major facelift soon for Saudi holy sites: minister

MAKKAH , August 22, 2018

Saudi Arabia's holy sites will undergo a major facelift in the near future, a report said quoting the kingdom's Hajj minister.

“There is a comprehensive, integrated plan to develop the Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat altogether,” Mohammed bin Saleh Banten was quoted as saying by the Arab News report.

He said there is a royal commission chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for Makkah and the holy sites and this massive project will see more services for pilgrims and increased capacity, safety and security to ease their Hajj pilgrimage.
