Italy's DAB unveils smart water management solutions

DUBAI, November 29, 2017

DAB Water Technology, an Italian frontrunner in the global water management industry, is showcasing its wide range of energy-efficient water management solutions at the ongoing Big 5 construction expo in Dubai, UAE.

It brings to Dubai a selection of wide line-up, focusing on those products that are of particular interest for urban development in the Middle East, said the statement from DAB Water Technology.

The company's presence at The Big 5 Dubai is aimed at confirming DAB Pumps as a strong partner for the professionals of the sector, and emphasise its important role in its markets of reference, also for this area.

On display are DAB's jewels-in-the-crown range including e.syline, the water pressurisation range, and D.Connect, a technology soon to be launched for the remote control of systems fitted with DAB electronics, and which will soon be integrated in their latest generation products, said the statement.

DAB e.syline is a ground-breaking innovative technology with a new line of products and accessories with integrated inverter. This is a completely integrated pumping system for pressurisation in domestic, residential and commercial applications.

In Dubai DAB "exhibits" its D.Connect technology; described as the smartest energy-efficient water management solution for urban development: provided with a smart and fast mobile App and a dedicated website, D.Connect enables real time remote interaction and control of the connected products, it added.

At the company's stand, DAB also proposes a virtual demo ‘tour’ through the three application areas of its offer – commercial, residential, agricultural/irrigation – with digital interaction spaces showing DAB products’ application as 360-degree solutions.

DAB is among a few water technology solution providers globally to offer a comprehensive range with more than 2,000 products. It produces over three million pumps per year catering mainly to residential, commercial, and agricultural irrigation sectors, said a top official.

"Our commitment to environmental conservation is consistent and compatible with the current transformation of Dubai and the region towards green technology," remarked Paolo Montanari, the group director for marketing and sales at DAB Water Technology.

This year, the company's turnover in the Middle East region has hit €16.5 million ($19.4 million), over a global turnover of €285 million, up 12 per cent over the previous year for this specific region, he stated.

"With the launch of the new inverter technology, e.syline in combination with the new products’ monitoring and control systems as D.Connect, in addition to its entire innovative proposal, DAB is targeting a 20 per cent growth in the GCC in the next four years," he added.

Michel Porro, the regional manager for GCC, said D.Connect was vital to the regional market because of its advanced technology.

"It enables checking the operation of systems without necessarily visiting customers as it features immediate fault alerts, updates of product software, preventive assistance and information on how to make the best use of the system," he explained.

Apart from D.Connect and e.syline, the Italian group is also showcasing some of the most advanced solutions such as e.swim, an electronic swimming pool pump, besides giving a peek into its D.Training, a training institute for water handling technologies with a customised and modular teaching proposal including online sessions made possible thanks to the new interactive D.Learning platform, he stated.

"DAB’s added value has always been its ability to combine extensive experience and tradition with research on technological innovation," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
