Kone launches new social media contest

DUBAI, September 26, 2017

Kone, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has announced its 5th annual social media competition “Name the Kone Reference” in Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.

The competition, which runs from October 1 to 31 on Instagram and Facebook, is open to the residents of the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia.

To win the contest, one has to check out the company's videos posted on the social media pages, Kone Middle East and North Africa on Facebook and Kone_Mena on Instagram and identify the popular Kone Middle East references in those videos.

"Kone equipment are found in some of the most iconic landmarks in the Middle East and across the globe. We are keen to identify the people that are aware of the famous building names and inform our fans and followers about the popular Kone references," remarked Noha Kadora, the marketing manager of Kone Middle East and Africa.

Every week, two people with the correct answers (one from Facebook and one from Instagram) will be picked randomly and awarded a Dh300 ($81.6) gift voucher to spend on electronics, fashion, gaming, books, music, or film at one of the largest retailers in the region.

"To participate, you simply follow our Facebook and Instagram pages and comment on the weekly video posts with the correct reference name. One lucky commenter on each platform will be awarded a prize. Other gift packs are up for grabs too,” added Kadora.-TradeArabia News Service
