Buyers thronging the Aldar stand during Cityscape.

Aldar nets $109m from The Bridges homes sale

ABU DHABI, May 3, 2017

Aldar, a leading developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has generated Dh400 million ($109 million) revenue from sales of homes in the first two towers of its latest mid-market development The Bridges, as buyers turned out in large numbers at the recent Cityscape to invest in high quality, amenity led mid-market real estate, said a top official.

Capitalising on the surge in demand after one tower was launched for sale, Aldar subsequently released a second tower during the event – taking the number of units available for purchase during Cityscape to 424 homes, ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments.

Owing to the huge demand for The Bridges, Aldar will launch the sales for the third tower on Saturday (May 6).

On the overwhelming response, Talal Al Dhiyebi, the chief development officer, Aldar Properties, said: "We have been delighted by the response to The Bridges. Before the show opened on Tuesday we had buyers queuing up round three sides of our stand in order to not miss out on the opportunity."

"The results at Cityscape have validated our view that the mid-market segment is underserved, and that customers know and trust in Aldar’s ability to deliver the right product, in the right location, at the right time," he noted.

"Because of this, we look forward to opening the third tower for sale, and welcoming more customers to Aldar on Saturday," stated Al Dhiyebi.

"The Bridges is providing us with a blueprint to launch more of this type of product in the near future in our other prime destinations across Abu Dhabi," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
