Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in Bahrain, has announced that the secondary stage of the infrastructural work for its Sarat Residential Project is well under way and nearing completion, in line with the project’s pre-forecasted date.
Giving a progress update, Diyar Al Muharraq said all deep services such as the foul sewer network have been completed.
Also a total of fourteen 11-kV electrical substations that were planned solely for the Sarat Residential Project have been constructed and handed over to the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), with the electrical plant within the substations also installed, said the Bahraini developer.
The shallow services such as the potable water network and the electrical network are currently being fitted as well, it stated.
Diyar Al Muharraq said the entire road network for the site was being constructed in accordance with the project’s master-plan.
CEO Dr Maher Al Shaer said: "This is an enormously significant moment for Diyar Al Muharraq as it marks another monumental milestone for one of our flagship projects, with each accomplishment in our timeline representing our unwavering vision and a next step forward to achieving our master-plan."
"Situated at a premium location adjacent to the entrance to Diyar Al Muharraq, in its physical location, Sarat is one of our most strategically important developments as it serves to welcome visitors to our master-planned project," he noted.
"In addition to that, the functional and practical capacity it holds in terms of the creation of an all-inclusive society perfectly ideal for communal living exemplifies our aspirations for a harmonious, productive and prosperous lifestyle for the residents of Diyar Al Muharraq," stated Dr Al Shaer.
Sarat is an ideal integrated residential community that includes all the living amenities of a modern lifestyle for its residents.
Set in an abundant park environment overlooking a beautiful landscape, Sarat site is located conveniently near the main entrance to Diyar Al Muharraq with close proximity to the Late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Grand Mosque and other planned community facilities.
Dr Al Shaer said the project was right on track for its planned completion by mid-2017 and within budget as well, "an enormous achievement for any such planned large-scale communities due to exponentially rising costs."
On completion, Sarat will boast a network of convenient pedestrian bridges as well as walking and cycling pathways that give quick and easy access to the beach and other areas.
Schools and community facilities provide an ideal location for young and growing families and peaceful settings create a perfect dwelling for older residents, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
