Hormann launches new Vitraplan doors

DUBAI, February 13, 2017

The Hormann Group, a leading Germany-based provider of doors and gates, has introduced its Vitraplan door, an exclusive version of its ALR F42 door with wide glazing areas.

An eye-catcher for prestigious buildings, sculpted designer homes and modern architecture, Hormann’s newly launched ALR F42 is elegant thanks to offset, aluminium flush-fitting glazing, said a statement from the company.

The frame profile is concealed, so nothing detracts from the clear overall appearance. Continuous glazing adds an exquisite element to modern industrial structures, it stated.

Darius Khanloo, managing director at Hormann Middle East and Africa, said: "This door can be used in high-class industrial buildings as well as in private homes. The door has a number of safety features including trap protection."

"Key switches, keypads, remote controls, timers and many other options are also available to suit personal preferences and routines during the day and night," noted Khanloo.

For doors with low-headroom tracks, the load carrier consists of a carrying chain/carrying cable. The side frames are completely closed, resulting in a secure side trap guard, he said.

According to him, the carrying cables are guided internally between the door sections and the frame. There are no protruding parts, which excludes the risk of injury.

"The surface-mounted glazing fascinates with a mix of mirroring and transparency. The ALR F42 Vitraplan can be optimally integrated in the facade with glazing in brown and grey, as well as a dark frame profile colour that syncs with the glass," explained Khanloo.

Hormann's proven finger trap protection for industrial sectional doors is also included in ALR Vitraplan doors, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
