Bahrain starts work on key sewerage network

MANAMA, January 11, 2017

Work has started on the sub-sewerage network in A’Ali Road 4812- Block 748 in Bahrain as part of a key government initiative to improve infrastructure in the kingdom.

The project involves extension of 820m long main connections, 700m long sub-connections besides construction of 70 inspection chambers and linking of 50 houses and real estates to the network in Block 748, said Asma Murad, the sanitary engineering assistant undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning.

The BD153,371 ($403,948) project was awarded to Tylos Excavations Company.

The project, which aims to connect 50 real estates to the network, is considered to be part of the Ministry’s Strategic Plan for the Sanitary Sector.-TradeArabia News Service
