GMI to display global brands at Gulf Industry Fair

MANAMA, December 26, 2016

Gulf Markets International (GMI), which represents companies from around the world bringing their expertise to the region, will display strong portfolio of international brand products at the upcoming Gulf Industry Fair 2017 in Bahrain.

The Northern Gulf’s leading annual industrial expo takes place from February 7 to 9 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

“Gulf Industry Fair is the leading Industrial expo for the GCC that is dedicated to promoting Bahrain’s industrial sectors. Our balanced optimistic vision for the business future in Bahrain and our geographic presence in the GCC means that our commitment to support Gulf Industry Fair is an integral part of our marketing strategy,” said Alain Arida, CEO of Gulf Markets International, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

Gulf Markets International has expanded its business activities to include building materials, agriculture, lifts, medical equipment and industrial materials, equipment and solutions.GMI has successfully built a sourcing platform hosting more than 40 companies as part of its portfolio, from around the world, in particular from Europe, Canada, the US, India, China and the GCC.

“We have focused our exhibitions to promote Bahrain as the business architect across a number of strategic business sectors,” said Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions, organizers of the show.

Gulf Industry Fair 2017 is strategically sponsored by the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) in association with Noga and Aluminium Bahrain (Alba). The Industrial Facilities zone is sponsored by Majaal and Naffco will be leading the Fire and Safety zone during the event.

Supporting organisations for GIF 2017 includes Bahrain Industrial Association, AHK Saudi Arabia, the German Saudi Arabian Liaison for Economic Affairs, the Saudi British Economic Offset Programme and India’s PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. – TradeArabia News Service
