Qatar real estate transactions down 33pc

The combined value of Qatar’s weekly real estate transactions witnessed a decline during the period from October 30 to November 3 despite a double-digit increase in the number of transactions implemented in different municipalities during the week.

According to Ezdan Holding’s latest weekly report, total value of transactions during the first week of November declined to QR502.5 million ($138 million) from QR755.2 million ($207 million) during the previous week, showing a decline of 33.5 per cent, reported The Peninsula.

However, the total number of deals implemented during the week touched 92, showing an increase of 29.6 per cent compared to 71 deals inked during the previous week, it added.
