The group started its operations in 1968 by establishing BMTC for product supply and distribution of electrical and lighting solutions. Named after its two founders, the late Salem Humaid Al Bahri and Rashid Humaid Ali Al Mazroei, it has expanded its portfolio to include water features.

Welcoming Saidi into the organisation, Esam Al Mazroei, the vice chairman of Bahri & Mazroei Group, said: "We are confident that we have found the right person to head operations of the company. We believe Bahri & Mazroei Group, under his leadership, will accelerate its pace of growth and profitability and rank among the top companies in this sector in the next few years."

"He comes with a winning record as a professional, who has led in transforming the culture of large organisations," observed Al Mazroei.

"We are excited about this change at the helm of our business operations. Saidi would lead the group’s business development strategies in the UAE and the GCC. It’s time for us to cater to our valued customers and prospective associates on a larger scale and Saidi’s leadership would significantly contribute to this strategy," he added.

Saidi holds a Master’s degree in applied computer science and business administration from Paul Sabatier University in France.

On his new role, Saidi, said: "I am delighted to be part of Bahri & Mazroei Group, which is synonymous of quality and performance. I am proud to support the group’s continuous efforts to look for new ways to enhance its services and solutions by ensuring optimum customer satisfaction. Today, the group stands as one of the foremost players in its specific industry."

"My mission will to leverage the strengths of the company and turn them into winning strategies to cement Bahri & Mazroei’s position as a domain leader. I look forward to working with the entire team, which has a deep understanding of its segments as well as further strengthen our relationship with our partners,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
