SSH plans Dubai Design District office expansion

SSH, one of the leading masterplanning, infrastructure, building design, construction supervision and project management firms in the Middle East, has announced its office expansion in Dubai Design District (d3) to accommodate its rapid growth and future expansion plans.

A Tecom Group freezone business park in Dubai, UAE, d3 is a purpose-built community dedicated to promoting and nurturing emerging local talent and providing a creative home to established international design, luxury and fashion brands. It will also feature residential, hospitality, retail and office space.

This spatial development will accommodate the increase in capacity required to meet its expanding portfolio of prestigious projects across all market sectors including commercial, cultural, heritage, hospitality, mixed-use and residential, said a statement from SSH.
 
The masterplanner was recently named in the Architectural Digest Top 50 as a leading provider in a variety of sectors ranging from transport, infrastructure and sustainability to architecture and engineering services in the region.

In addition to current projects including the Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre and Sheikh Abdulla Al Salem Cultural Centre, SSH is a leading provider for healthcare planning and architecture, it added.

It is delivering the Kuwait Children’s Hospital, Sheikha Salwa Al Sabah Centre for Stem Cells & Umbilical Cord, the NBK Children’s Cancer Centre in Kuwait, and the Specialist Clinical Centre for Dentistry, Dermatology and Diabetes Hospital in Qatar.

SSH has also been appointed to provide construction supervision services for the Al Adan Hospital in Kuwait.
