Imdaad names head for environment unit

DUBAI, January 28, 2016

Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities and waste management solutions in the GCC, said has appointed Marc Esteve as the new executive director for its environment department.

The move comes in line with Imdaad's aim to reorganise the division according to the company’s green policies.

An industry veteran, Esteve brings with him over 24 years of exceptional professional experience in developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies, policies and programmes.

Esteve holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from IAE Aix en Provence and a Bachelor’s Degree (DESCAF) from Sup de Co Sophia-Antipolis in France, said a statement from Imdaad.

Prior to joining Imdaad, Esteve was the senior general manager – Emerging Business for ETA FM. He has also worked with various subsidiaries of Sita (Suez) including at Trashco Dubai in the role of managing director for over 12 years handling waste and water management.

He also held the position of secretary general for the French Business Council (FBC) from 2001 to 2003.

Welcoming Esteve into the team in Dubai, CEO Jamal Abdullah Lootah said: "With his remarkable environmental expertise, especially in waste and wastewater management, he will effectively guide the department to attain new levels of success."

In addition, the rising demand for efficient, effective and green facilities and waste management solutions has created tremendous opportunities in the environmental field."
