Real estate companies have been blamed for dumping waste along Karranah’s coastline in Bahrain and raising the risk of serious environmental pollution in the area. “They are slowly turning the beach into a dumping ground,” said area councillor Ali Al Showaikh who is demanding immediate action as the problem is “getting out of control,” reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
