A major expansion of a road near Hamala, which has been the scene of numerous bottlenecks, accidents and fatalities, has been outlined, said a report.

Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Minister Essam Khalaf told parliament in writing that the proposal to revamp Wali Al Ahd Highway, which MPs will vote on during Tuesday’s session, was in the planning stage, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
