$45m wind farm to be built in Iran

A 48 MW wind farm is set to constructed in Iran's southwestern province of Khuzestan by a German-Iranian firm, according to a report.
The firm seeks to launch the scheme which will require a total investmnet of about €40 million ($45.9 million), Frank Riesbeck, Development Environment Arvand Company's project manager, was quoted as saying in the Iran Daily report.
The wind park will be located in Arvand Free Trade Zone and is expected to come on stream by the middle of next year, it added.
