UDC to auction nine luxury townhouses in Qanat Quartier

DOHA, August 24, 2015

United Development Company (UDC), a leading master developer, has announced plans to auction nine luxury townhouses at Qanat Quartier, the Venice-like mixed-use community in The Pearl-Qatar in Doha, Qatar.

Auction bids are to be submitted by 12 pm on September 13 at the sales and marketing centre in the Oyster at The Pearl-Qatar.

This auction provides investors and buyers with the opportunity to get bargains on luxurious townhouses located in the Venice-like community of Qanat Quartier, all of which enjoy sea views as well as direct access to the beach, the company said.

The nine townhouses come in two- or three-bedroom units, measuring from 349 sq m to 368 sq m. Each townhouse enjoys a contemporary look and is only minutes’ walk away to Qanat Quartier’s central retail area.

Successful bidders will receive their freehold titles in accordance with the provisions of the sale and purchase agreement and applicable laws, the company said.

Auction prices for each townhouse will be set according to the highest bid, provided it meets the terms and conditions set for the auction, including the minimum opening price of QR25,000 ($6,865) per sq m. A retainer payment of 20 per cent of the property value is to be submitted through bank-certified cheques.

All nine townhouses are strictly to be used for residential purposes in accordance with the provisions of the sale and purchase agreement, the company said. - TradeArabia News Service
