Hyundai eyes investment in Iran projects

South Korea's Hyundai Development Company Group (HDC) has expressed investment interest in development projects in Iran's northern port city of Anzali, a report said.

This was revealed by an HDC representative during a meeting with Ali Naeimi, director general of Gilan province's Ports and Maritime Organisation, Iran Daily reported, citing Tasnim News Agency.

Naeimi briefed the HDC official on the development process of the Caspian Sea ports in northern Iran, including Anzali, and the transit of goods through the port, the report said.

Anzali Free Zone encompasses Anzali city with approximately 3,200 hectares of land and waters to a depth of 2 km from the coast.
