Union Properties begins work on Green Community Phase 3

DUBAI, July 30, 2015

Union Properties, a leading Dubai-based developer, has started work on the Phase Three of its Green Community project in Dubai Investments Park (DIP), Dubai, UAE.

The Dh680-million ($185 million) project will feature 227 units including 210 townhouses, 16 duplex apartments and retail space.

Contractor Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast has begun laying foundations at the site, which spreads over 138,000 sq m, said a report in The National newspaper.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-2017. About 1,555 residential units have been added in the first two phases of the Green Community.

Wade Adams caried out the enabling work for the project, while Dewan Architects and Engineers is the lead consultant.

Union Properties plans to develop three new projects worth Dh2 billion ($544.5 million), it said in a bourse filing last week.

The projects include Phase Three of Green Community - DIP;  the Dh1.1-billion ($300 million) The Vertex in MotorCity, and the Dh400-million ($108.9 million) Phase Two and Three of Green Community, MotorCity, according to reports.
