Work on new $30m Jaguar showroom on track in Bahrain

MANAMA, May 27, 2015

Work on a new $30-million Jaguar Land Rover showroom in Sitra, Bahrain, is well under way and is expected to be complete towards the end of the year.

Euro Motors, the exclusive Jaguar Land Rover dealer and distributor in Bahrain, has announced that work is on target for its new two-level showroom that will cover more than 5,000 sq m, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Construction began in April 2014 with a budget of $25 million, but this was increased over the course of the project.

The showroom is being built adjacent to the existing one and is set to be the first purpose-built facility in the GCC to be fully compliant with Jaguar Land Rover’s latest corporate identity standards.

“This is Euro Motors’ most aggressive investment strategy in showroom development in recent years,” said Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover managing director Nawaf Al Zayani.

“Gauging from the massive size of the development and the worth of the investment, the showroom is set to substantially raise the standards for all other dealers in Bahrain,”
Al Zayani added.

Display space capacity for new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles has been doubled as compared to the existing showroom and the new and improved showroom will be large enough to accommodate a substantial increase in used vehicles as well.

The building will also house a state-of-the-art workshop with a capacity more than twice that of the current workshop, which will allow work on 32 vehicles at a time. - TradeArabia News Service
