Juffair Heights ... to be completed by mid-2016.

Bahrain's twin tower project on track

MANAMA, April 18, 2015

The construction work at Juffair Heights, a freehold residential project being developed by Pegasus Real Estate in Bahrain, is in full swing and on schedule, said a report.

In a statement, Pegasus Real Estate said more than 2,000 prospective buyers have seen the show apartments at the twin-tower development being built by Dadabhai Development and Properties Management Company, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Nearly 85 per cent of the 376 one- and two-bedroom units have already been sold, it stated.

The 28- and 29-storey towers project was recently voted the best high-rise residential development by the Arabian Property Awards, the report stated.

On the twin-tower project, Pegasus Real Estate managing director Aziz Mithaiwala said it will be completed by mid-2016 and will feature some of the most revolutionary techniques having been applied in the construction process.

Twenty-one slabs have been completed at the South Tower, the first phase of the project, while the second slab has already been laid at the North Tower, the second phase.

Construction on the first common area podium level has been completed and it is at the halfway stage on the second and third levels, said the report.

"Thirty-one different nationalities have been brought into the project, including Bahrainis, other Arabs and expatriates from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and neighbouring countries," remarked Mithaiwala.

Pegasus plans to showcase the project in a big way at its pavilion during the gulfBID, Gulf Property Show and gulfInteriors event next month (May 12 to 14).

"Juffair Heights has been well-received across the region for its location, the developer's reputation, well-designed apartments and a host of recreational facilities," said Mithaiwala.

According to him, real-time cameras placed at site have been a huge draw as owners and potential buyers have been able to monitor the progress of work on their computers and smart phones at all times.

Facilities being offered at the project include pools for adults and children, gymnasiums for ladies and gents, indoor and outdoor play areas for children, recreation rooms, in-house theatres and jogging and cycling tracks at the podium level.

"Additionally, landscaped areas with pergolas and walking bridges, virtual-reality golf, indoor football/basketball and cricket facilities, welcoming double-height reception areas and four levels of parking have been the biggest attraction for all buyers," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
