Bonar Natpet, a leading global producer and supplier of geosynthetics, is to showcase its world-class products and services at this year’s edition of gulfBID 2015, a market leading specialist exhibition for the Northern Gulf's construction and building materials sector, to be staged in Bahrain in May.
It is a joint venture between European group Bonar, a key provider of technical fabrics with capabilities in extrusion, nonwovens and woven focusing mainly on the geotextiles and agro textiles markets, and National Petrochemical Company (Natpet), the global producer of propylene/polypropylene in Yanbu, an industrial city in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia.
Bonar’s international clientele include Enka Geosynthetics Solutions such as Enkagrid, Enkamat, Enkadrain and Colbondrain.
Natpet is a subsidiary of Alujain Corporation, an investment company that is involved in Saudi Arabia’s major industrial projects within the petrochemical and mining industry.
The joint venture firm is a major provider of geotextile expertise that specialises in the construction of roads, railways, land filling, tunnels and foil roofing as well as providing protection for coastlines, shores, drainages, pavings and pipelines.
On the participation, Mohammad Barad’i, the sales and marketing manager, said: "Bonar Natpet’s association with gulfBID 2015 provides us with the opportunity to showcase a global product with a local market presence."
An annual showcase, gulfBID 2015 will be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Bahrain, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from May 12 to 14.
It is a specialist regional construction and building material exhibition for the most influential architectural, engineering and design communities of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar. The event is being organised by Bahrain-based Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE).
"The exhibition provides us with the opportunity to form alliances to access the growing Bahrain market, as well as to take advantage of Bahrain’s strategic position as a promotional centre," stated Barad’i.
Bonar Natpet Geosynthetics, he stated, was a major player in the design, manufacturing and sales of geotextile products for civil engineering and infrastructure markets in GCC and Middle East region.
Welcoming them to gulfBID, Jubran Abdulrahman, the managing director of HCE, said: "Bonar Natpet’s presence at GulfBID will provide visitors an opportunity to meet a global and regional leader in geotextile products for civil engineering and infrastructure projects."
The gulfBID takes place alongside two other major exhibitions - Gulf Property Show and gulfInteriors - thus ensuring the continued success of the biggest integrated business-to-business showcase for the construction, interiors and property sectors in the Northern Gulf.-TradeArabia News Service
