CPC seals Egypt construction expo deal

RIYADH, April 6, 2015

Saudi-based Construction Products Holding Company (CPC) has signed up as a platinum sponsor for the Arab Construction and Projects Forum to be held in Egypt from May 24 to 25.

This sponsorship confirms the position of CPC to continue contributing to the economic development process in Egypt where the company has been operating since 2007, said a statement from CPC.

It has been investing heavily in key projects across several industrial sectors, in addition to its support for a number of social and educational initiatives to the community, it added.

Commenting on the deal, Dr Faysal Alaquil, the director of business development at CPC, said: "This sponsorship showcases our continuous commitment to Egypt through sponsoring the Forum which comes after the success of Egypt Economic Development Conference and also because it focuses on Egypt’s mega planned projects."

The current Egyptian government, he stated, has been taking solid steps towards full economic recovery. "As such, we at CPC believe that now is the time for us to stand and show our commitment and we are looking forward to further achievements and expansions in Egypt," noted Dr Alaquil.

"This sponsorship comes simultaneously with CPC’s recently announced agreement with Egyptian Ayadi Company for Development and Investment to build 10 industrial cities for SMEs at a cost of $500 million," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
