Mashreq, the third-biggest lender by assets in Dubai, UAE, has invited bids for the construction of its new head office in the Downtown Dubai area of the emirate, said a report.  

The Mashreq move to relocate its corporate headquarters to a site near Burj Khalifa from its long-standing home in Deira comes amid record earnings in 2014, reported The National.

The companies have been given time till the end of April for submission of tenders.

The new head office building will have a gross floor area of 39,000 sq m, it added.

Mashreq’s current headquarters is located on Omar bin Al Khattab Street in Deira, Dubai.
