Finetools to open zonal HQ in Dubai

DUBAI, December 14, 2014

Finetools, a leading provider of hardware and machinery to the construction sector in the UAE, is set to officially launch its zonal headquarters at Dubai Investments Park (DIP) in Dubai, UAE, on December 16 (Tuesday).

It is the parent company of the popular hardware and tools brand Uken, and a leader in industrial power tools, machines, construction equipment, hardware, safety devices and accessories.

Finetools is also an authorised dealer for world-renowned hardware brands like Dewalt, Makita, Esab, Hitachi, and 3M, said a statement from the company.

The zonal headquarters, which is located at DIP-2, is fully operational with warehouse facilities for storage and an efficient logistics network to streamline the process of delivering quality products throughout the region.

Commenting on the opening, VK Shamsudheen, the managing director of Finetools, said: "We are extremely proud to announce the opening of our zonal headquarters in DIP, which houses a total of 3,500 companies across a wide array of sectors."

"We hope the facility will help us continue and enhance the delivery of the best quality standards on time in our core business areas of industrial power tools and construction equipment," he said at a press conference in the presence of company directors VK Abdul Salam and VK Abdul Gafoor.

Salam said with the launch of the new integrated facility at DIP, the company aims to double the annual turnover to Dh300 million (Dh81.6 million) next year.

“We have upgraded our facilities recently as part of our aggressive expansion plans. The positive impact of the Expo 2020 is already visible in the market. Being a leading company catering to the industrial and construction sectors, we are confident about our capability to serve the market in this line, and accelerate our growth in the coming years,” he added.

Gafoor said the zonal headquarters will provide a fresh approach to its business. "This will set an example from the forefront of sustainable operations, benefiting our customers as DIP is well-connected locally and internationally."

"Our mission is to become the leading company in the field of construction materials, power tools, industrial machinery, safety equipment, and a range of other industrial products," he added.

Finetools also serves as the authorised dealer for companies like Rothen, Berger, Fischer, Starett, Stanley, Weicon and Cooper Weld.-TradeArabia News Service
