surrounding ancient rainforest.

Tasweek starts work on Malaysian villa resort

ABU DHABI, October 27, 2014

Abu Dhabi-based Tasweek Real Estate Development and Marketing, said work has begun on its new 11-villa resort being developed under a joint venture with Casabrina Vacation Villas in Malaysia.

An advisor and solutions provider serving the property markets, Tasweek said the luxury villa is part of the sprawling luxury Casabrina Vacation Villas luxury vacation complex located at the foothills of Pahang, the largest state in West Malaysia.

Upon completion, Casabrina Vacation Villas will offer 11 two- to eight-bedroom villas occupying three acres of hillside land.

The Tasweek announcement follows the recent completion of two villa projects - Villas Amertani and the more intimate ‘Villas Aranya.

Villas Amertani features four bedrooms, a large living area and teakwood balconies, while the Villas Aranya has two bedrooms, a pool and gardens. All the facilities will provide panoramic views of the surrounding ancient rainforest and are a masterpiece of the renowned Balinese architect AA Yoka Sara.

Felix Tree, the renowned Malaysian entrepreneur, is the creative force behind the ambitious development, said a staatement from Tasweek.

The UAE firm will market nine of the boutique villa-hotels spread over 30 acres of lush hillside land under a Shariah-compliant scheme.

The firm has partnered with a major Malaysian financial institution to provide long-term and highly competitive mortgage instruments to interested buyers from the Middle East.

Tasweek will also offer special promotional packages to visitors from the GCC who want to book any of the luxurious villas, thus grooming the development as a tourism gateway between travel-savvy Gulf residents and Malaysia.

“Casabrina Vacation Villas offers a vacation experience like no other to tourists, especially Arabs who will be definitely impressed by the surrounding scenery, the excellent hospitality services, and the outstanding amenities," remarked its CEO Masood Al Awar.

"It is also an opportunity that should not be missed by investors from our region who want to capitalise on Malaysia’s thriving tourism and real estate businesses. We encourage local investors to support this project and other developments that help strengthen tourism ties with Malaysia," he stated.

No restrictions on foreign ownership will be imposed on the freehold units, he added.

The project is being jointly owned, developed, operated and marketed by Tasweek and Casabrina Vacation Villas.-TradeArabia News Service
