Arab Contractors in $180m Algerian industrial zone deal

The Arab Contractors, a leading construction firm in Egypt, is implementing three major industrial zones worth $180 million in Algeria, said a report.

The cost includes utilities alongside other infrastructure works for the three projects, Ashraf Rateb,  head of the African sector, was quoted as saying in an Amwal Alghad report.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.

The company is also carrying out a mega housing project in the Algerian capital worth around $50 million to $60 million, said the report.

It recently signed a contract with the Algerian authorities to carry out housing compounds, which are aimed at providing as many as 1,500 units, it added.
