Hasan Ismaik quits Depa chairmanship

Dubai, June 24, 2014

Hasan Ismaik, the former chief executive of embattled contractor Arabtec Holding, has resigned as chairman of Dubai interiors firm Depa.

Ismaik told Reuters on Tuesday that he had left Depa, which has fitted out a number of Dubai's most high-profile buildings including the Burj Khalifa, to focus on his personal business.

This comes a week after he resigned as chief executive of Arabtec.

A spokesman for Depa wasn't immediately reachable for comment.-Reuters
