The Bahrain Ministry of Works will be closing the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman causeway to traffic for one night on Thursday (January 30) to complete the installation of a new bridge in the US Navy Base are.

To facilitate smooth flow of traffic, the ministry has made special arrangements for road users.

The east-bound traffic will be diverted to Al Fateh Highway, and the west-bond traffic will be diverted to Dry Dock Highway in Muharraq Governorate from 11pm on Thursday till 6am on Friday, said the Ministry of Works in a statement.

The bridge installation was being done by Roads Affairs of the ministry, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
