UAE Q3 revenue rises to $40.32 billion

ABU DHABI, December 14, 2022

UAE achieved an increase in revenues at the state level from AED126.3 billion ($34.39 billion) during Q3 of 2021 to AED148.1 billion ($40.32 billion) during Q3 of 2022, according to the preliminary government finance statistics report.
 
Revenues from social contributions increased by 10 percent compared to the same period last year – from AED3.4 billion during Q3 of 2021 to AED3.8 billion during Q3 of 2022. announced the Ministry of Finance.
 
In terms of expenditures, the results showed a 5% increase in expenditures at the state level from AED91.8 billion during Q3 of 2021 to AED96.5 billion during Q3 of 2022.
 
Current expenditures increased by 7% during Q3 of 2022, to reach AED93 billion in Q3 of 2022, compared to AED 87.3 billion in Q3 of 2021.
 
Current expenditures consist of workers’ wages, use of goods and services, consumption of fixed capital, paid interest, subsidies, grants, social benefits, and other transfers.
 
The data was released in line with the open data policy followed by the UAE.
