BisB appoints new chief corporate and institutional banking officer

MANAMA, August 15, 2022

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), a leading provider of Islamic digital banking services in Bahrain, has appointed Jawad Abdulhadi Humaidan as the bank’s Chief Corporate & Institutional Banking Officer. 
 
The appointment aims to enhance the succession planning of Bahraini talents at the bank, thereby promoting transformation strategies especially in training, guidance and leadership, the bank said.
 
Humaidan has over 17 years of extensive experience in the retail banking field. Prior to joining BisB in 2018 as Senior Manager at the Corporate Banking and Institutional Banking department,  Humaidan held several senior management roles in managing corporate relationships in leading local, regional and international banks such as: National Bank of Bahrain, Mashreq Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

Humaidan is a certified arbitrator specialising in the banking and finance industry. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Carleton University in Canada, and a Master of Science degree in Finance with distinction from DePaul University in Chicago, US. He has attended several leadership programmes with leading institutions such as Insead in Singapore and Ivey Business School in Canada. – TradeArabia News Service
