Awnic launches new digital division ‘Awnicbot’

ABU DHABI, August 16, 2020

Al Wathba National Insurance Company (Awnic), one of the UAE’s top insurance companies for digital and smart services, has officially launched its new digital division ‘Awnicbot’. It offers 100% digital insurance services, super-fast claim processing and easy access to product benefits at the click of a button.
 
A year in the making, Awnicbot - available through Awnicbot.com or a dedicated app - was developed with customer service at its heart; with services available 24/7 and completely omitting the need for customers to visit a service centre.
 
As well as the ability to purchase and renew policies online, Awnicbot enables customers to submit claims online and - within a couple of clicks - a support team will take care of everything: from getting a vehicle repaired to dropping it back at a client’s doorstep. 
 
Customers can also avail advantages from Awnic’s Privilege Card - a loyalty discount card to some of the UAE’s leading brands which are offered to customers who purchase insurance from Awnic or its associates.

The launch of Awnicbot is part of Awnic’s digital transformation strategy which puts digital at the heart of the business and has led to a growing reputation as a leader in digital innovation. In the past year, Awnic has incorporated many technological advancements into its strategy, such as Blockchain Technology in the Motor Claims Process, developing a mobile application, and creating a digital HR system known as Human Resources Management Software (HRMS).
 
This month, this strategy saw Awnic scoop Digital Insurance Initiative of the Year - UAE the 2020 Insurance Asia Awards, which recognise exceptional initiatives and solutions in the insurance industry across the Middle East and Asia region.
