ENBD says digital banking services restored

DUBAI, August 12, 2020

Emirates NBD has announced that its teams have resolved issues arising from its core banking platform upgrade and have restored digital banking services across all channels as of Tuesday (Aug 11).  
“As previously communicated, Emirates NBD has undertaken an important system upgrade of its core banking platform. I would like to update that our teams have resolved issues and have restored digital banking services across all channels," said Abdulla Qassem, Group Chief Operating Officer. 
"We are closely monitoring the situation and continue to improve service performance as more customers access our digital banking platforms.
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our valued customers due to the service interruption and remain committed to addressing their concerns,” he said.
The clarification came after the bank began rolling out a set of upgrades to its systems.  However, some customers could not access accounts and vented frustration over social media. - TradeArabia News Service
