DUBAI, December 14, 2015

The founder and chief executive of deNovo Corporate Advisors, an independent Middle East-focused corporate finance advisory firm, was named 'Business Woman of the Year' at the Arab Woman Awards UAE 2015 ceremony.

May Nasrallah was recognised for her achievements, especially in the financial industry where she advised on several multi-billion dollar landmark transactions for blue chip organisations across the region, said a statement.

The awards, which aim to provide a platform to recognise significant achievements of Arab women across the GCC, serve as a beacon to inspire young women in the region, it said.

Sue Holt, executive director, ITP Consumer, said: “We are honoured that His Highness Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan has extended his support to the Arab Woman Awards. His support brings us a step closer to our mission of providing a platform that raises public awareness of the significant achievements of Arab women.

"His support also provides us the opportunity to celebrate the region’s most inspirational women who serve as role models and figures of inspiration to the young generation.”

Industry professionals and leaders from across the region attended the Arab Woman Awards ceremony, said the statement.
