Bank of China economist to speak at WIBC

MANAMA, November 18, 2015

Manjiang Cheng, chief economist of Bank of China International (BOCI), will speak on China’s economic trajectory and its impact on Islamic economies and financial markets at the upcoming World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) in Bahrain.

Manjiang, also the CEO of the Research Company of BOCI, has been recognised several times as a leading Economist by Institutional Investor and Asia Money. She currently is a member of China Financial 40 Forum (CF40), one of China’s top think tanks.

Held under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain, the 22nd annual World Islamic Banking Conference will be held at Gulf Hotel from December 1 to 3.
