Oman to take part in GCC-India Forum in Jeddah

MUSCAT, November 17, 2015

An Omani delegation, chaired by Hilal bin Hamad Al Hasani, chief executive officer of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), is set to take part in the fourth GCC-India Forum.
 
It will take place on November 18 and 19 at the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Jedda, Saudi Arabia.
 
The forum aims at providing and sharing latest industrial and economic updates, creating networking opportunities with key players, and identifying strategic partners and new business opportunities, said a statement.
 
Organised by the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC) in co-operation with the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the event will bring together a host of officials and business leaders from India and the GCC countries under one platform, it said.
 
The topics that will be discussed in the forum comprise investment opportunities in the GCC and India, the role of sovereign funds, trade, healthcare, cooperation between the GCC and Indian businesswomen communities, energy security, food security and agriculture, and IT, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
