ABU DHABI, April 26, 2015

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has appointed Saoud Mohammed Al Jassem as the new head of Government Clients Division for Dubai and the Northern Emirates (DNE).

In his new role, Saoud will lead the development of the Abu Dhabi lender’s relationships with the governments of Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman and Umm al-Quwain.

An Emirati national who brings over 10 years of experience in the local and international banking industry, Saoud had earlier held the position of head of key accounts in the Trade Finance Group of the ADCB.

He previously worked with leading local and international banks, where he focused on wealth management for high net worth individuals.

"We are happy to support Saoud’s ambitious career plan, and provide him with an opportunity to utilise his vast experience in the UAE, and pass on his knowledge to the rest of the team through this leadership position," he noted.

Darwish said: "We are confident that with his extensive expertise and our unparalleled services, he will reinforce ADCB’s current government relationships and create new ones with the governments of Dubai and Northern Emirates."
