New financial guide for UK expats unveiled

LONDON, February 2, 2015

The Expat Network, a specialist information resource for those going to work and live abroad, has published the ‘Financial Action Checklist for British Expatriates,’ a fully updated guide.

The guide provides information on the tax and financial planning choices open to expatriates, with sections on new residence and tax rules, what to do with property, offshore banking and investment, national insurance and pensions, said a statement.

The checklist format allows expatriates to see if they have done all they can to make the most of their money when planning a move abroad and while there.

It can be viewed free of charge at the newly revamped Expat Network website and can also be downloaded for free from the site, said the statement.

The site also details hundreds of job vacancies overseas as well as guidance on contracts, insurance, health and foreign exchange, it said.

Through its new partnership with www.worldofexpats.com, the Expat Network is also able to allow readers to access over 170 guides to moving to foreign locations, property searches and removals resources, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
